ST. LOUIS (June 25, 2018) – The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has named the Monsanto Company to its 2018 list of Top Workplaces, ranking No. 8 among the region’s top 10 largest employers. This is the fourth year the modern agriculture company has made the list, moving up from its No. 16 ranking in 2017.

The Top Workplaces are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. The 2018 Top Workplaces list appeared in the June 24 edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“We are honored and extremely proud that Monsanto has been recognized as one of St. Louis’ Top 10 Workplaces,” said Melissa Harper, Monsanto’s Vice President of Global Talent and Inclusion & Diversity. “Our employees value an environment that is focused on inclusion and diversity, work-life balance and professional development. These accomplishments promote innovation and will be built upon as we look forward to a future with Bayer.”
