Applications available for 2008 Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship
(March 13, 2008) - High school seniors in Hawaii who interested in pursuing a science degree are invited to apply for the Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship. A total of ten (10) scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded in 2008. The educational grants are designed to help students further their education in the sciences.
The scholarships are open to students of all public and private high schools in Hawaii who will be graduating in good standing this year and will be attending an accredited college or university to pursue a post-secondary education in a discipline related to the life sciences. Examples include agriculture, agronomy, biology, botany, genetics, horticulture, plant physiology, chemistry, crop science and soil science.
