Monsanto Hawaii Science Education Fund
Established by the Monsanto Fund in 2005, this educational grant program was established by the Monsanto Fund in 2005 to support science education in Hawaii public schools and to encourage students who may be interested in a future career in the sciences. The program is open to public schools serving students at the intermediate, high school and college grade levels statewide.

To date, the Monsanto Hawaii Science Education Fund has provided monies for such endeavors as purchasing classroom educational materials, lab supplies, projectors, a portable screen, microscopes, ecosystem learning module, water and soil project supplies, science kits for teachers, gross anatomy exhibit, and a small greenhouse for student research projects. The program has also contributed to a robotics team, school-based science club and creation of an on-campus native plant garden for an environmental sciences and botany curriculum.
