The history embedded in Scott, MS, creates a unique opportunity for growers to view Monsanto’s product pipeline first-hand. Monsanto and its Delta and Pine Land business grasped on to this opportunity and after months of planning and work, the Scott Portfolio Showcase and Learning Center held its grand opening on June 26, 2008.
The Learning Center will give farmers a chance to learn about Monsanto’s product pipeline and the benefits it will provide for them on their farms for years to come. Delta and Pine Land understands how many benefits farmers will gain by planting the showcased products. By showing producers how to maximize the value of developing various hybrids, varieties and traits, farmers will be better prepared for future technologies.
The Scott Portfolio Showcase and learning Center will highlight various agronomic practices and the product line available from Monsanto’s D&PL business. Products showcased in the portfolio in Scott, MS include:
